What we ask you for

Nothing. This site has no contact form, no newsletter, no login and no account system, so there is no point at which you hand us a personal detail. The search box on the country grid filters a list already loaded in your browser — what you type stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Analytics

We use a third-party analytics service to understand how the site is being used — how many people visit, which pages they look at, roughly where in the world they are, what kind of device they use, and which sites they arrived from. We look at this in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or combine it with anything else.

To do this the service receives your IP address, and depending on how it works it may set a cookie or a similar identifier in your browser. GlobalAssets sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser itself. If you would rather not be counted, a content blocker, your browser's tracking protection, or private browsing will all prevent it — the site works normally either way.

Your web host and Google Fonts

Two further things happen when any website loads. First, the server delivering this site receives the request, which includes your IP address. This is how the internet works and is true of every site you visit.

Second, this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser, including your IP address, when a page loads. We have no control over what Google does with that request; their handling of it is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Blocking fonts.googleapis.com stops it — the site still works, it simply falls back to a system typeface.

The blockchain is public

GlobalAssets is built on Robinhood Chain. Anything you do on-chain — minting a country, holding it, selling it, receiving a royalty — is recorded on a public blockchain by design. That record is permanent, visible to everyone, and outside our control. It is not something we publish about you; it is how the network itself works.

Your wallet address is pseudonymous, not anonymous. If you connect that address to your identity anywhere else, on-chain activity can be traced back to you. Please keep that in mind before minting.

Connecting a wallet

If and when this site lets you connect a wallet, the connection is made between your wallet software and the blockchain. We never receive, request or store your seed phrase, your private keys or your password. Nobody working on GlobalAssets will ever ask you for them, in any context, for any reason. Treat anyone who does as an attacker.

Talking to us on X

Our only communication channel is @globalassetshq on X. If you message us or reply to us there, X handles that conversation under its own privacy policy, and we see whatever X shows us — typically your handle and what you wrote. We do not export those conversations or add them to any database. We have no Discord, no Telegram, no email list and no support desk; treat anyone claiming otherwise as an impostor.

Links to other sites

Wallets, marketplaces, block explorers and anything else we link to are run by other people under their own policies. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 21, and the 195 countries are not offered to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we have no mechanism by which a child could give us personal information.

Security

The strongest privacy protection we can offer is not holding your personal data in the first place, which is the approach we have taken. That said, no website or blockchain application is perfectly secure. You are responsible for the security of your own wallet and device.

Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct and delete personal information held about you. We hold no records that identify you, so in most cases there is nothing for us to return or erase. If you believe our analytics holds data relating to you, contact us on @globalassetshq and we will do what we can with the provider. Blocking analytics in your browser, as described above, prevents it being collected at all.

Information already written to the blockchain cannot be deleted by us or by anyone else — that is a property of the network, and it is worth understanding before you take part.

Changes to this policy

If this changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes will be announced on @globalassetshq.
